Accounts Assistant - Staffordshire - 6 month fixed term contract
We are seeking an accomplished Accounts Assistant to cover maternity in Staffordshire for 6 months. This position will start mid February to enable a four week handover
You must have proven experience in the following
Sound knowledge of accruals, prepayments and commitment accounting in order to create weekly accounts report. - Essential
Knowledge of control accounts, journal creation, some sales ledger experience, some purchase ledger duties - matching and processing.
Excellent spreadsheet skills - including queries and pivot tables.
Reconciliation of accounts. Periodic Audit checks.
Knowledge of Time and Attendance system - Kronos experience would be an advantage.
Extensive admin experience and a willingness to help out others.
The computer system is Oracle based, experience would be advantageous otherwise good knowledge of accounting software will be sufficient
